I know. They make so many rules that they tie everyone up in knots til they can't function, or it's not worth their while, such as small growers like yourself. Worse than the EEC by all accounts Evil or Very Mad Run by jobsworths I imagine Rolling Eyes

The EEC make the organic rules up and we need to be real carefull about how we use the word 'organic' on my van is says 'organic plants and B n B', this is cos I am allowed to say my plants are organic cos no rules on ornamentals but cant say my B n B is cos we dont do 100% organic food as we care about food miles too and I am not certified, which would cost me 100s of pounds a year and stop me offering the customers a choice for breakfast.

So ... it's a dilution of 9 : 1 ... water to milk ... any more than that and you'd be making cheese n the leaves Laughing Laughing Laughing

I know from being in Africa that milk was a natural germicide ... used to bath the dogs eyes with it when they had been spat at by snakes !! Also when we got caught in the cross wind from tear gas - hugely soothing !!!! Great places I used to live eh !!
