Plum & Apple Jam - just made!

Ingredients

1½ lbs plums - stoned & quartered
1½ lbs cooking apples – peeled & diced
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ pt water
3 lbs white sugar

Method

Put fruit, water and lemon juice in pan
Cook till fruit is soft
Add sugar; boil.
When set bottle!

Makes 6 jam jars full.

NOTE !!

I used yellow plums. Small bits of apple floating in golden jam makes it look really good.

Don't try to make double quantity it spits like crazy!

Tastes delicious! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
