Perfect for halloween if you have kids. Large even shape fruits which look like they'll make good lanterns - 2/3 fruits per plant. _________________ I'm a very friendly lion....... Usually.

Gawd don't get me going on pumpkins - me faves
For eating, if I could grow only one, it would be Crown Prince. Sweet Mama is delish but a bit mushy so best for soup. It tastes like sweet potato
The Festival ones look beautiful, with their lovely stripes and are good cubed and fried with rice dishes, roast as wedges etc
North by the way |

I've got some Pumpkins in for the cubs - not doing badly but not huge and still very green, should they be going orange yet. They are Jack O Lantern I think.
Not growing any more squashes cos you lot have got all the seeds _________________ The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend.
