You've got a witch in the greenhouse? That probably accounts for the cues...
Try Tiffany F1 - I got LOADS this year off that variety (all female indoor one) and it won me 1st at the early summer show for a pair of veg.

Long Green Ridge Second season with them and they crop early, heavily and taste great. Outdoor
Marketmore First season trial. RUBBISH! Took ages to grow on, late to crop and light cropping. Have to say a great taste and fine skin though so going to give them a second chance. Outdoor. _________________ "Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times" Mark 4, v8 |

Gosh! no-one's been here for two years!!!!
right.....this year I grew marketmore (free seeds from a magazine)
and wautoma from realseeds.
grew them in the same bed, gave the same care etc.
proper scientific like
anyhoo, marketmore (as Icy found) were tasty with a fine smooth skin.
Wautoma were quite prickly, not quite as cucumbery but more dense fleshed (and so better for tzatziki).
but here's the main finding.....(drum roll please)
Wautoma produced 10 TIMES AS MANY cucumbers per plant
I picked them all at 6 inches long and I kid you not, Wautoma made a full ten times more per plant _________________

Hi Bags
I bet you can save seeds from the What-the-blazes cues as they're from Real Seeds.
So, you gonna save us all some Tara, sweetie, dahling. Mwaagh
I got loads of BTG and Petitas so having plenty of it in salads, tonight it's going to be raita and on Friday tzatziki |

I didn't do brilliantly with my indoor ones this year, prob cos with being in the shed they don't get watered as much!
Mind you, little man is getting cucumber finger food which is great for the teething!
(and a proper mess he gets into, too!)
