I have to recommend Red Jewel F1 (T&M), as it's grown some monsters!

You need plenty of space though, and I don't think that well composting or manuring the ground a few months earlier hurts either. And fine mesh keeps the baddies (flea beetle, root fly) out if you peg it down very well.

I'm doing 'rouge tete noir' again this year cos last years only failed due to slug damage, making them the closest I ever got to eating me brasicas Laughing
