My aubs plants ended up in the bin Sad they started to fruit and then the joints between the stem and fruit-bearing branches went brown and some of the fruits went mouldy seemingly overnight and fell off. I think it might have been blight? My peppers are going the same way and they've got lovely little green peppers on. Waaaaaaah Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Oh b****r Wards Confused but I only binned them this week and there weren't any more flowers on, so I didn't think there was much chance of getting any aubs now. I've also picked the peppers off the plants today cos they don't look too good.

I've pruned quite a few tomato leaves this afternoon which deffo have stared to show signs of blight, but it seems to be mainly tigerellas that are affected for some reason. At least I've got lots of tomatoes this year - last year I didn't have my GH and lost the lot in the rain.

I don't have slugs in the GH Ady, but there are a couple of great big hairy spiders - I realised when I leaned my head into a HUUUUGE web this afto and nearly freaked when I saw the occupant Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Loobs - my first 2 aubs went like you described Sad (think I posted a pic somewhere but can't remember where Rolling Eyes ) but I cut them off and the rest developed fine Very Happy We've eaten 4 of them and there's another 4 or 5 that are almost ready (and another handful which are probably too small and won't get big enough now).

I wish to goodness I could work out how to grow decent aubs.

This year I grew loads of them in the potting shed, as the conservatory, which is warmer, has red spider mite. I can fumigate the shed if need be!

I had three main plants - mohican (white), long purple and Calliope (mini striped ones). All in 8-10" pots.

I had (um...) about 12 other plants which I didn't know what to do with so they got shoved all over the place in various pot sizes.

I've had fruitwise three mohicans, one long purple and one calliope. They take yonks to get to proper size. I think there's 2-3 more Calliopes ready now, but how on earth do you get them to grow at a decent speed please?

I've four more plants which I decided to put outside in a monster pot and they've grown huge but only just flowering... *sigh*

Think they'll be headed for the conservatory soon, as there's backup heating on a thermostat for when it gets colder than 14C.

Help?!
