Reminder to check your squashes and pumpkins in store. Went for one today from the shed and it had started rotting at one end. Caught it just in time. Phew! A Crown Prince so I'd hate to have lost it.

Hast la Pasta is fine one of me marrows went a bit squshy at one end, but me plums are nice and firm.

I love butternuts and managed to grow two Rolling Eyes

Mind they were fabbo so grateful for owt really Very Happy

They make good soup too. Some are a bit watery and don't but you live and learn. The less meaty ones are ok cubed and fried off then added to rice mixes etc. I love pumpkin curry. Which reminds me I better check the oven Shocked

All my squash and pumpkin seed failed to germinate except for one Sunny Cinderella one which is out on the plot

Re-sowed the whole lot last night so hope fully this lot will germinate Rolling Eyes
