Reminder to check your squashes and pumpkins in store. Went for one today from the shed and it had started rotting at one end. Caught it just in time. Phew! A Crown Prince so I'd hate to have lost it. |

Hast la Pasta is fine one of me marrows went a bit squshy at one end, but me plums are nice and firm. |

Curry is what I'm doing.
Meat for Karen and me asa nice hot one..
...butternut hot for the mother-in-law and mild for the kids.

All my squash and pumpkin seed failed to germinate except for one Sunny Cinderella one which is out on the plot
Re-sowed the whole lot last night so hope fully this lot will germinate  |

I left all mine to sow on the 25th May (my wedding anniversary  ) and I now seem to be over run !!
Wards save me a seed of the Cinderella will you I have a Sunny 'Futsu' that I could swap  _________________ Gulp ...
I love my vegetable garden. So here is my sad ballad: I nurtured it for months, And ate it in one salad! |
