Just picked me duster up and there was a live wasp in it Shocked It was dead dopey but that's when they're at their most dangerous innit. Put it outside on a shrub but it came back at me. I slammed the door in its face and it's now on its back with its legs kicking in the air. Feel dead guilty now Sad

I had a close look inside, bit tricky wish waspy knocking about, and stood on a rickety box thing, but inside the wasp had started making chambers

It's hanging from the ceiling of the shed, right above my cooker. So relucantly I whipped it down with a sharp knife. Beautiful structure but very delicate. Never seen one before, not such a new one anyway. I feel a heel but I do need to constantly use my shed

oooh! so clever!

if you're not planning to keep it you could drop it into a primary school.
Just think how it would capture their imagination.... Shocked

I've had folks traipsing into me shed all morning - this was while it was still in situ with just the one wasp in attendance. Fascinating Very Happy

I've saved it. It's like dust though and the slightest movement makes it break up Sad

you got to give em respect obviously Rolling Eyes But they're part of the lotty furniture. OK if they nest in your muck eap but the shed is a no-go cos I need it. They nested in next door's shed last year and she abandoned ship for them and got a new shed. I reckon they're taking the piss Very Happy Still they can nest where they like but not in me shed Sad

Wonder where they'll relocate to Confused
