Start saving em now for germinating broad beans etc. Easy to plant out the whole thing when your plant is well developed. Sweet peas are good in em or anything that likes a long root run |

I have been saving them since August along with kitchen roll tubes, ever since I decided to take on my lottie I have carrier bags full of the damn things and my husband is getting cross as they keep leaping out of cupboards when he least expects it After I explained that it would save us money he then smiiled and put them away happy in the knowledge that he didn't have to pay for plant pots! |

Also, do you cut your toilet rolls in half as they seem a bit deep, I know sweet peas need to root deeply but what about other stuff ? |

I'm going to remove mine this year because they never rotted away and restricted the roots!!
..also going to use them for leek wrapping this year _________________ "Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times" Mark 4, v8 |

blimey you're organised Dom
I have thought about my sowing but that's all I did buy a new polystyrene modular propagating kit thing from Wilko with all the bits with it, eg lid, modules, base, capillary matting. £3.99. So looking forward to playing with that. Their seeds are buy one get one free at the moment and they start at 39p so got some parsnip seeds |

Gosh no vernacular at all. I need a lie down
I wonder how long I could maintain this state of affairs Actually I'm quite good at English and can spell quite adequately when forced so to do |

To whom do you refer? Mr Thistle? I find that impertinent man is all mouth and trousers, as they say hereabouts |
