Green or not green?

I have to profess to not having the slightest idea? I use a lot now for filling the kettle to stop it limescaling up but with the cartridges only lasting 4 to 8 weeks are the seriously unenvironmentally friendly? Confused

I'll call the lot of you.

When we moved into our house, the upstairs loo had a cm of limescale deposited in the pan. It was *disgusting* and I still can't believe the previous owners had let it get to that state.

I tried limescale cleaners; might as well have waved a pot plant at it.

Resorted to a chisel and a hammer. I still don't know what it's like up the u-bend... and I don't want to!

moonbells

ps we don't use a filter. Tap's fine for me!
