New thread here so us guys can keep each other up to date with beers we have drunk and what we think of them.
Tonight tis Greene King Abbot cos tis the only one Deb could get hold of. Tis alright but not me first choice. A bit too sweet and characterless.
Landlords back but tis a weeknight so cannot go down the pub
Went last night _________________

Quite like London Pride - used to serve it when I was a barperson. Been drinking their Summer Ale cos its been cheap somewhere. Was a bit tasteless bearing in mind some of the really hoppy ones like Summer Lightning or the original lighter summer beers like Exmoor Gold (used to serve that too) _________________

If you ever come across a beer called 'Silver Lining' at a beer festival or whatever get a shedload down your throat - its very quaffable! _________________ "Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times" Mark 4, v8 |

Had a couple of pints of Speckled Hen last night, a very pleasant pint of beer. |
