I've got a dishwasher cos I can in this house and I use it every day just about. It's a godsend. Mr L doesn't do dishes either, like Mr D.

I do my bit at home and at work for the environment .... and it's my dishes so I'll dishwash if I want to

I use Squezy tabs alternated with Finish tabs and whatever salt/rinse aid I pick up first!

I have a dishwasher. We use it about 3 times a week. Never thought about the stuff that goes in it. I saw a programme once that said you actually use less water by dishwashing as it is swished around. Things like rinsing a mug under a running tap uses loads so they said you would be better to use the DW economically - ie fill it correctly and not just use it for a few bits.
So we do.
