Evenin Dom
The first day it's not rained and I was at the hairdressers in town. Mind you went at tea time to pick veggies for my veg chilli and came back with a right good haul. I always have to smile at what gorgeous colours the veg are and how fantastic they look when you have them gathered together. I got bright yellow courgettes, drop dead gorgeous borlotti beans, sweetcorn, and the pretty striped aubergines and a dark purple one, fat red toms. With the garlic and onions I had all the ingredients for my chilli cept the mushrooms and meat, so I was really chuffed
I made the cake for afters too, and it was a lovely colour cos of the fresh eggs in it. Smug mode engaged |
