Found this little chap hiding in a window box in the front garden, so translocated to the pond. There should be three of them now (assuming they haven't teleported themselves out again, given the whole garden's now enclosed with secure fencing).

I think this one's a male, given how big it puffed up as I tried to catch it!!!

I look at them as long term slug patrollers!

That's not a worry. She once cornered a toad. Hasn't gone near anything with similar appearance since!

edit: frog's still about today, nose stuck out of pond. The other ones have always hopped away under plants, so I'm pleased this one seems to like staying in the water! Didn't half make me jump with an enormous PLOP sound tho!
