So I guess I'll get shot if I say I've got about four cherry bombs growing already and another load of flowers ready to pollinate?

well they sort-of self-pollinate. We just redistribute pollen to be sure (we've already had one fruit drop off due to it not working)

Have fun being a bee Smile

Our cherry bombs (1.5cm) have now been joined by a couple of jalapenos (1cm) and the Thai Dragon (last one to germinate and a small plant) has caught up with a vengeance and opened its first flower too.

Sir is awaiting them with glee.

Mine are snuggled up in the conservatory, in pots between 5" and 8" diameter. They should all be in 8" really but at £1.75 each at our local GC, they can take a flying jump! I shall repot as they look like they need it, into pots I've recycled from something else.

Wardy - they're Purple Venezuelan, originally from Real Seeds but they no longer do them (Sniff!) so I have to rely on collected seeds now. Have still got quite a few so I can try again next year...

the Friar's Hats looked dead promising but owing to the orrible rains and generally crap weather and no bleeping sun, they didn't get chance to fruit before the first frosts, so they were doomed from the start Rolling Eyes So I read about overwintering them, and I did prune them as suggested and wrapped the pots in bubble wrap but they went mouldy. Sob

Oh well
