50 million pounds in lottery money is up for grabs in the "peoples50million"
award. Sustrans Connect2 a fund to revitalise walking and cycling in local
communities are one of the 4 finalists. My parents, pensioners both, and many other local residents in Cheshire and North Wales have worked tirelessly to obtain develop and maintain a Greenway route through their town (Chester) to have a safe walkway/cycleway free of motorised traffic and a part of what could be made a wonderful tourist route if they were to get the money.
