big bruv turned up tonight with our prezzies.....two blueberry bushes Shocked one is called 'blue jay' and described as 'very vigorous' it fruits in summer.
The second is called 'elliott' and has wine red stems. It produces 'very large, tangy flavoursome berries' late in autumn Laughing

I am a very happy bunny Laughing Laughing Laughing

If you've not got acid soil Tara stick them in big pots with ericaceous compost - they'll be more than happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I don't think my soil is acid Confused
is there any way of knowing without doing a ph test? (there are no hydrangers in my garden to tell me Rolling Eyes )

but I understand that chucking my old pennies round the base of the plant will help Laughing
