Afternoon all ... if we don't have a thunder storm soon to clear the air I'll be peeved ... couldn't go out cos was just wet enough to be annoying ...
... had to clean the house instead _________________ Gulp ...

I love big big thunder storms - bit of a storm chaser!! Not of course when I am in the middle of a field though - prefer to be in a car - right in the middle! _________________

Art'noon gang
Been lottying for the first time in a week and though there were quite a lot of big weeds, the veggies are looking good too and have grown a mile since last weekend.
The boys and I brought home peas, spinach leaves, new potatoes and a courgette but we ate all the ripe blackberries (they were hoooooj as well Flo) and tomatoes, so they didn't make it back My swedes were useless in the garden last year but I planted the same ones at the lotty as an experiment and they're looking ace so I'm well chuffed. I had a cauli in the midst of them which has blown already It looks still edible though, so it'll be cooked in with some other veg tomorrow. _________________ I'm not big on high maintenance - when it's time to bow out, I'll skid in sideways, in a wrecked, wrinkly and burned out body, wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Woooohoooo, what a ride that was!!!!" |

No rain yesterday despite the direst of warnings from that nit of a weather man. he said it would chuck it down last Saturday for our open day. He was wrong then Took me coat and brolly to the match and it stayed completely dry |

Right! Been proactive courgette wise and the operation to use em up has begun
I made a chocolate courgette cake earlier and it's now cooling off. I used yellow courgettes to avoid unnecessary alarm I think I'll dish it up with some ice cream (courgette flavour )
For lunch I invented a sunshine omelette. My lovely fresh eggs with yellow courgettes and red onions. Looked fab Didn't taste bad either. Two down, 38 more to go
Nah, I palmed Wardy off to work with a stack this morning. Bet they scatter when they see him coming |
