Interested to hear what G2 and others have to say about this. I am not planning on using it but if I did ever get any of the really bad, long-lasting soil borne diseases I might consider it, while also considering changing plots.

• Naturally occuring ingredients
• 100% bio-degradable
• Environmentally friendly

• Ministry approval
Armillatox is made from the finest polyalkyl phenolic types available emulsified in the purest vegetable oil soap. It is therefore a natural product which will enhance the soil rather than pollute it, i.e. it is completely bio-degradable. Remember that these polyalkyl phenolic types are obtained from plant life and it is the polyalkyl phenolic types in growing plants which give them their natural resistance to diseases.
In order to maximise the fungicidal, insecticidal and herbicidal power of the material while keeping the phototoxicity low, it was necessary to exploit the synergism of a blend of over 100 fractions of polyalkyl phenolic types. The complex mixture ensures that not only is the spectrum of control very wide but that resistant strains of the attack cannot evolve.
Armillatox can be used to treat the following:
Moss on lawns
Moss & algae on hard surfaces
Fairy rings
Fungal disease in roses
Fungal disease in onions
Cleansing and sterilising
Honey fungus
Clubroot
Toxocara canis eggs
Vine Weevil

I'm glad this was only a theoretical question Ady - cos if you had any of those nasty soil borne diseases which take forever to go away and moving plot was not an option what do you do ? (which incidently just passes the problem onto somebody else).
Surely it's better as a last resort to use something you'd really rather not use if you can help it, to give you a fighting chance of growing something - rather than having an unproductive wasteground for as long as it takes for whatever the problem was to go away on it's own
But lets face it there are some bizarre things classed as organic - derris for example which is highly toxic and kills everything - beneficial or not. _________________ The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend.
