I'm thinking of doing one cos I'm fed-up with this row sowing lark and my raised beds arent quite ready Rolling Eyes But ONE cabbage Shocked Mmmm Confused

Yeah, but that's one cabbage in a 30cm square, so 30cm apart each way - which is probably how you plant them anyway Very Happy

or....you can put four mini cabbages in a square Laughing
or....use it like a nursery bed with five brassicas per square that will be moved on as other squares empty towards autumn Laughing

I lurve my square foot bed Laughing
the stuff in there is doing sooooooo much better than that in pots or planted out Shocked and it's so pretty Very Happy
I've put alpines round the edge and I've sown spring onions etc in diagonal stripes, some things in spirals, others in squares and in rows.

It' the little things that make me happy Embarassed

Cos I sowed things in my seed bed Sad so don't have one no more Rolling Eyes

Go and buy some letttuces and sow some raddish ... then add sweet corn and a squash and a tomato, stick in some peass beans and carrots and there you are !! Rolling Eyes Laughing QED
