You could always grow 'em as multi blocks - put about 6 seeds per module then plant the whole lot out and they grow as a clump a bit like shallots Very Happy

Only sweetpeas but plan to do tomorrow, if I can get in the greenhouse without me pac a mac Rolling Eyes to sow Kelsae onions and celeriac. I think it's a good idea if you have a sunny window sill to sow (and grow on) chillis, peppers and aubs early cos they need a long growing season

Apparently celeriac sown early without heat is fine. The lady in KG says they are really cold hardy but you could cover the tray with a layer of bubble wrap if needs be

You can also sow now under cloches or sommat carrot Amsterdam Forcing. All Year Round cauli and Hispi cabbages can be sown in a cold greenhouse or frame for planting out when the weather allows.

Hey Penny, take heart, I've got a base and a newly cleaned frame and new fixings etc. Just have to introduce them all now, but it keeps raining or is 1C and blowing a gale Shocked Laughing

T'other morning the two halves of my coldframe lid were about 10 feet from the coldframe, despite being weighed down with fence-post size wood and various aluminium lengths (see above Laughing ). Fixed em back on and weighed them down a bit more Evil or Very Mad and so far they've stayed.
