I bought some completely plain unscented liquid soap. I thought I could add some tea tree & eucalyptus oils (as I'm not actually allergic to those Shocked ).
The only thing is I don't know how much to add, & whether I'll need it all in a bigger bottle to mix it up properly, or whether I can just drop in a couple of drops & shake . It's only 295ml, so not an awful lot of soap to start with - don't really want to faff about decanting it into other bottles if I don't have to.
Any advice please ... Delilah? Anyone?

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

It does depend on the ingredients as to whether the oils will disperse evenly or not, can you let me have a link to the product or list the ingredients.

Tea tree and Eucalyptus are both top note oils and are quite pungent so I would use no more than 15 drops in total, 10 of tea tree and 5 of eucalyptus Very Happy

Thanks Ade for moving this (& for ignoring Dom & Wardy Rolling Eyes )

And thanks Delilah for the info Very Happy

Have cut & paste ingredients from website as it's a bit difficult to work out which are the right ones from all the other different soaps they sell. My one has: Aqua • Potassium oleate • Potassium cocoate • Glycerin • Sodium chloride • Potassium palm kernelate • Palm kernel acid • Potassium citrate

I know what aqua is, & that I'm not likely to be allergic to the rest, but that's about it ... Confused

although water is the main ingredient, in which essential oils do not disperse well, the cocoate is an emulsifier and there are oils present so there shouldn't be any problem with adding essential oils to the soap Very Happy
