I just opened the packet of Ratte seed spuds and discovered I've enough to carpet the whole B. allotment. Now I know I've got to clear it again this year, but this is ridiculous. Esp as year before they were like hen's teeth.
I've also got twice as many Charlottes as I need and a couple of extra Picasso.
Anyone want to take the spares? They are already chitting merrily!

I shall go and count the Rattes then, and see about finding a load of padded bags - ironically I just recycled a pile the other week
I know I've got 9 Charlotte and just 2 Picasso.
Wardy you might well get a delivery next week when you likely to be in?
HT and Looby - yes to which? any?

OK: divvying up as to who wants what and according to who asked first (to decide the 6 rather than 7 Rattes...)
Looby: 7 Rattes + 3 Charlotte + 1 Picasso
Impy: 7 Rattes + 3 Charlotte
Wardy: 7 Rattes
HT: 6 Rattes + 3 Charlotte + 1 Picasso
Rattes: small maincrop salad (and a bit blighty so cut down very fast if it hits) bred from Pink Fir, so similar flavour but not nearly as knobbly!
Charlotte: 2nd early oval salad
Picasso: maincrop, supposed to be heavy cropper.
Not that I like waxy salad potatoes, no...
I will attempt to get them to you all sometime in the next week or few: meanwhile they'll live with my others so will chit a bit.

Three packets nicely ready-chitted spuds on the way!
I just hope the mail doesn't remove all the chits... have labelled them fragile in hope they don't put them through the rollers!

Glad they all got there. Didn't put notes in - figured that I just had to get them off before I forgot again!
Guess you can figure out from the tubers which is which: the only ones I didn't write their initials on were the rattes!
