started off my morning glory (and other, related climbers) indoors and they're going great guns but look kind of weedy and thin.

I've never grown them before but suspect they're 'leggy' Confused
Is it okay to pinch them out? or will that check growth and prevent them from climbing up my runner beans later Smile

I've been growing mine for weeks and they haven't branched yet and still just have two leaves Confused

It might be a case of burying them up to their scraggy little necks again Very Happy

I think you can probably trim them - I'd definitely unwind it from the handle though and give it a stick to climb up, they're really difficult to unwind once they've "set" into place Confused I grew some a few years ago and left them in pots while I went on holiday - when I came back they'd all wound round each other and I had to break quite a few tops off to separate them Rolling Eyes Laughing Laughing
