an old song came on in the background and I knew it and sang along to it. Not heard it for donkeys years and it's Scottish I think but not as you'd know it.

It's the Eriskay Love Lilt and we had it on a 78 when I was tiny but it came back to me and I remembered the words though they're not English Odd Shocked

It must be Celtic or sommat Very Happy

Int it strange how things come back to you so easily Very Happy

Yeah I watched it while ironing school stuff. The music didn't register though - that must've been when I popped through to get a glass of red Cool

I was just about word perfect watching Ashes to Ashes though Very Happy

Ashes to Ashes as a song just does not compare to Life on Mars as a song though. Ones excellent, and one is pants. Glad thye mainly chose the few good early eighties tracks though cos there was a lot of dross around then. You just have to look at Andy's record collection Laughing
