I hope to goodness you mean you sold eggs not hens!!!!

Seriously, each week the free ranges are up another 5 or 6p. They're now £1.45 in the supermarket. This time last year they were 85p.

Question is, does this reflect the higher grain and fuel prices or were they subsidised to begin with or both?

I suspect both, but... wish I could have chooks here!
