I would suggest go for Tumbler rather than Tumbling Toms. They are more expensive seeds but having tried both types, I know which grows best and tastes best. Tumbling toms are probably good if you like your cherries slightly tart. I don't!

Seeds of Italy have one they recommend for containers and they give you far more seeds for money, think it is just called red cherry. Will look in greenhouse when stops raining.
Started some off with Garden Perle for BIL to compare. Daughter wants some as well.

I wanted to send Del some Gartenperle but realised I had ran out Embarassed So
sent some Tumbling toms instead because.... that's all I had suitable for hanging baskets Embarassed Was new pack so I have never tasted them ... Sorry Del Confused

And btw, all the supermarkets/garden centres round here have ran out of most veggie seeds Shocked Must be all those new peeps waiting for the 'perfect' lottie wot bought them Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes Wink

I haven't sent out my parsnip seeds yet. Something else always seems to be getting in the way like punctures or my mates daughter being admitted to hospital. Will try and sort it tomorrow - I need something to put them in - that is what the problem is.
