So when they are ripe, so them somewhere a bit more convenient.

Whilst walking the dog down the river, I saw meadow saxifrage - a few years ago they did some work down there to improve and they now manage it like a meadow and the variety of wildlife increases year on year. I am a bit taken with the saxifrage so will be keeping an eye on it for when it seeds.

Oh, and I also spotted a fly tipper and have reported it to the council!!!

Ooh sorry - never looked at the bottom photo, assumed it was a third aspect of the same plant. No, not mallow, probably scrawny weed but without a flower, tis difficult. I will consult my tomes.

that bottom leaf looks like mallow. If it's honesty you'll soon know cos you get those flat translucent seed pods

flowers don't look particularly mallow though Confused

Are we helping Cool

Bottom one isn't mallow or honesty:
Mallow:

Mallow leaves are more deeply lobed whereas that is shallowly lobed and sinnuated/serrated.

i have looked and I definitely need flowers to be sure of what it is. In fact, I was so unsure of what it might be, I have forgotten what it might be and will have to start again Rolling Eyes
