.....Oh I forget how many it is now Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I was driving back from one of the Checkpoints to the Office at around 11-00 last night down the main road when I saw a car slow down in front of me open the door, then drive on again and then as if by magic there was a kitten in the middle of the road.

I swerved to avoid it and drove into a very small ditch but wasn't sure if I'd hit it or not - so I went back to see. Fortunately it was cowering in the same small ditch I'd ended up in about 50 yards away. It's a tiny ginger and white cat - small enough to fit in my hand. Well what could I do but bring it home - I think he's about 4/5 weeks old. I hand fed him last night with cat milk and commandeered the downstairs loo as a "kitten room", this morning he's had tuna flakes and seems quite happy Very Happy

Well done Andy. It is a bit young to be away from its mother and good sociable cats need to be with their mother for the required 6 weeks. Is your cast having anything to do with it cos if it is, I'd hang on to the kitten for another couple of weeks so at least it has a surrogate parent to teach it how to behave.

No Ady - the vet said for us to keep them seperate - to protect both from possible infections.

He's gone to his new home, they had him down to the vet this afternoon to be checked out and he is now called Troy Laughing Laughing Laughing

Danu is up the duff again - really must get round to having her seen too. I am sure she is the street bike and has a sign on the roof saying "Get it here". Deb has said that if she pops a Ginger, we are keeping it. The others we are going to dump in the middle of the road....NOT!!!!!
