Got a right nasty poke in the face today when I kicked over a pot of seedlings in the greenhouse. Swooped down to retrieve it before it spilled out all over the place and got a sharp cane straight in the kisser Evil or Very Mad It was one of the really narrow canes anorl.

Morale to this tale - use cane toppers. Corks in my case. Now firmly attached to all the canes I put round my cucs today. Could easily have been me eye Shocked

ooh sounds nasty try the plastic balls from ball pools - I think that a cork could still hurt you; they are quite pretty as well Laughing

Oh dear poor you ... wish you better soon ... I use yoplait pots on the tops of my canes ... makes the plot look ever so busy!

Like the idea of wine corks though ... much nicer taste!! Laughing

I use beer cans because the opening grips the cane like a vice and they never blow off. Makes me look like and alcy though but they are nearly all lager cos I get them off my mate.
