Well it's that time of year again thank gawd. The zenith of veg growing is the arrival (or not) of the beloved sweetcorn crop

I have this very day just munched my first sweetcorn. Miracle from Wilko (26 p a packet) Very Happy Not as big as Sweet Nugget but lovely Very Happy

We had our second lot last night - twas loovely too - only about 60 cobs to go Shocked

I know they did. Well maybe it will get better and be glorious by tomorrow Very Happy I want to go to Clumber tomorrow as they have a veg tasting session in the afternoon so fingers crossed that the rain will ease off by then

My minipops had all grown tassles when we got back from hols, but I picked em all and had them with dinner. Yum Very Happy
