Nope, only safe in June Had a frost the 1st yr I had the lotty, had planted everything out on OH advice and it all died
Mind you I made friends with all the 'old boys' who took turns to come and see me shaking their heads 'why did you do that for?' And the following day one lil old man gave me a full tray of runner beans plantlets
Bet no-one will do that now though cos you'd think I'd learn, wouldn't yer _________________

I saw Impy's post at 7-something last night and ended up charging up the lotty at 8pm to put fleece on the tomatoes my mum had planted out cos she's run out of space at home I did say t'other day to bring em round to mine - parents - you can't tell em
I planted 4" high sweetcorn babies out in the veg patch yesterday but it's warmer in the garden, cos its quite sheltered, so they've been ok. _________________ I'm not big on high maintenance - when it's time to bow out, I'll skid in sideways, in a wrecked, wrinkly and burned out body, wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Woooohoooo, what a ride that was!!!!" |
