I only just sowed my beans and stuff. Pumpkins not germinatd yet so I bought em in the house last night cos bloody freezin.

Flipping cold on the stall today and frozen to the marrow as yesterday. Got a cuppa now and still trying to get warm

Nope, only safe in June Rolling Eyes Had a frost the 1st yr I had the lotty, had planted everything out Rolling Eyes on OH advice Rolling Eyes and it all died Evil or Very Mad
Mind you I made friends with all the 'old boys' who took turns to come and see me shaking their heads 'why did you do that for?' Rolling Eyes And the following day one lil old man gave me a full tray of runner beans plantlets Cool Cool Cool

Bet no-one will do that now though Confused cos you'd think I'd learn, wouldn't yer Shocked

I got home exhausted after plant fayre and pub, and dead cold. Got a cuppa tea, arrived on t'boards to find a frost warning, so had to pack everything back into the greenhouse. I could have left the lot and thought sod it Evil or Very Mad

I saw Impy's post at 7-something last night and ended up charging up the lotty at 8pm to put fleece on the tomatoes my mum had planted out cos she's run out of space at home Rolling Eyes I did say t'other day to bring em round to mine - parents - you can't tell em Laughing

I planted 4" high sweetcorn babies out in the veg patch yesterday but it's warmer in the garden, cos its quite sheltered, so they've been ok. Very Happy
