All in a quandry now. I have two baby thrushes here, unable to fly, and mum nowhere to be seen. One is in the middle of the drive and the other on the path round the back. My garden is covered in feathers where something, probably the marauding sparrowhawk, has killed what looks like a wood pigeon

So, little baby birds, with no mum, murderous hawk and next door's cat

I can't bear to look. Don't want to intervene as they say it's the wrong thing to do, and I'm hoping mum will show up sharpish.
I do so worry for them (shakes head)
