I cut comfrey leaves to use as mulch .... left them to wilt first but when I went to move them, there were billions of slugs sheltering underneath Shocked

Err.... is it a no no to use it as mulch then? Confused

I thought it would be better than straw Embarassed

once it's cut and wilted slugs will find other things to inhabit!

Good food is comfrey ... just put most of mine in the bottom of the bean trench, along with the grass cuttings, news paper, card board, pony poos, green amnure etc etc! Laughing

I did chopped comfrey on my bean bed. Not many though cos I got bored Very Happy
