How long does this beastie take to get to a decent size please, and how does one keep off the flea beetles?

I just ask because I was lazy Embarassed

and bought a washed and ready to eat pack from the supermarket, only to find a clutch of tiny eggs on it! Shocked

One complaint email later (with photos) I am thinking I ought to grow it anyway, if only because I'm used to looking for extra protein in stuff I grow myself!!! Laughing

Couldn't you grow it in the flowerbed and confuse the beasties ?? Confused

I grow the cultivated rocket (Seeds of Italy has loads in packet ) Germinates quickly and can start picking quite small. Been picking for weeks now. Even staring picking when still in modules. Haven't had trouble with flea beetle on it . But maybe just lucky
