We are being plagued by the b****y things and I was wondering if there was an organic way to deal with them other than squishing them? |

If you like killing caterpillars you can use Derris liquid or dust.
I'd prefer Tara's route as I'm not a natural born killer of anything.
Bun bun was on my plot on Sunday when I went with my husband. First time he's seen it and it's now fully grown. They grow up so fast these days don't they
Derris liquid is now defunct but only just so you might still be able to lay your hands on it. Derris dust is likely to survive I hear. Although its organic (I can hear G2 shouting at me from here ) they can't afford the malarky to get it marketed and sold as such. Same as with Armillatox |

WRONG Derris powder is under a temp ban and Armillatox is illegal to use in the garden, I am not saying anything about organic just its use is banned. Tis the law.
I dont want to get in to row again _________________

here we go
Armillatox might be banned for use in your garden. Defra don't rule my garden. How can there be a law that says I can't use it in my garden You might not be able to use it in your garden but then you're registered under the Soil Assoc, I'm not.
I am not wrong about Derris dust I spoke to our lotty supplier wholesaler chap just yesterday and he tells me that Vitax are in talks and it looks like this product might yet continue to be available for gardeners
So, ner |

Organic Gardening Catalogue still has this Wards so I don't think it's been reclassified as a cleaner yet
