I've grown a big box of beetroot well i thought i had until i pulled one up today and there was nothing on the end im led to believe they are Swiss char what ever that is Confused but what can i use it for how do i cook it as I've never come across it before Laughing

Chard mate. Can be used like spinach and the stems can be cooked and eaten too. I personally prefer spinach as it has more taste. As far as I know, the insipid pale green one has the most taste and is true "swiss" chard. The red one is a cross with beetroot and is simply red chard and there is a rainbow one which I grow cos it looks nice.
