... be interested in a seed parcel round-robin ????
I have many seeds that will soon go out of date, some have already but as I can't grow them all ... would be happy to parcel them up for chaps to pik-and-dip
You could then chuck in your spare seeds, and post it onto whoever would like to take part and when it gets back to me those seeds that are spare I could take to a good cause charity shop ????
I'll put in a list with addresses etc. will also keep the postage to a minimum thought about 1kg = £3.50 there about absolute max to give folk an idea of what they might be in for !!!
So what do you think ??? _________________ Gulp ...

I'm up for that Flo, so count me in, sounds like it could be interesting! _________________ I'm not big on high maintenance - when it's time to bow out, I'll skid in sideways, in a wrecked, wrinkly and burned out body, wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Woooohoooo, what a ride that was!!!!" |

Me too! Can we add seeds which are out of date but are unopened, so still have a chance of growing?

ps we'd have to make sure we had decent packaging to stop the mail crushing things in the rollers... _________________ Diary of my Chilterns lottie

Not for me thanks. I can't be sure I'd ever get to the post office to re post the parcel.
Also I would take loads of seeds with all good intention of sowing them and would find them, mouse bitten and mildewed, in the shed 18 months later _________________ Get with the beat Baggy |

I said yes so I could give my spares to good homes where they'll actually be grown next season. Then I can re-acquire as I get the plot going again. Parcel leaving me will be a good deal heavier than when it arrives (better send to me first, Flo!)

Text sent! Have to put new car seat in this lunchtime and shopping scheduled for 5pm and tomorrow it's family trip to Kew... argh! Shall sort my tins this w/e and collect the parcel ASAP after that. Look on it as it's first stop!
Flo hon you'll have to say when you're free next week in late afternoon for a drop-in or if you can do a lunchtime coffee in Ricky/Northwood!
