Did you see the rhubarb growers on Ready Steady Cook? That woman (from Wakefield) knows chapter on verse on all things rhubarb. Sounds like a superfood Del

It's trendy now to eat it as a savoury - as well as making wine with it that is Very Happy

it goes well with tuna and soy, or with lamb. Her son was saying that it's a waterside plant so just don't bung it under the hedge or it won't grow properly. Guess where I bunged mine Rolling Eyes

Well I 'did' Watford today looking for demijohns ... Shocked ... and I fourn ONE !!!!! that's no ****** good now is it !!

anyway one is better than none so rhubarb gets it ...

... and then there is elder flower, and eldderberry, and .. and ... and ... Laughing Laughing Laughing

Del so how long MUST I keep it for then ???????????????????????? Confused

As I'm not too keen on sweet wines ... only added 4lbs sugar ... how dry will that make it ... and does reducing the sugar effect the fermintation process? Have still only used the 1/2 tsp that Dell said ????? Confused
