... BUT ....

I'm now covered in cuts and scratches, bruises, and my hands are now a dirty shade of currant!!! Rolling Eyes Laughing (just can't keep my gloves on me!!) Rolling Eyes

Still the haul has been great this year ... especially as the only fruit bushes that are mine are the gooseberries !!! Cool

12 lbs goosegogs
8 lbs red currants
8 lbs black currants
12 lbs white currants

So far have made Ward's goosegog icecream, 8lbs red currant jelly and a pie Very Happy

One of my clients gave me hooge bags of red, white and blackcurrants last Friday as she's got a glut Cool Very Happy Very Happy Have frozen them for now as I didn't have time to do anything else with them Rolling Eyes - but planning a summer pudding maybe next weekend Very Happy
