Evenin Dom

The first day it's not rained and I was at the hairdressers in town. Mind you went at tea time to pick veggies for my veg chilli and came back with a right good haul. I always have to smile at what gorgeous colours the veg are and how fantastic they look when you have them gathered together. I got bright yellow courgettes, drop dead gorgeous borlotti beans, sweetcorn, and the pretty striped aubergines and a dark purple one, fat red toms. With the garlic and onions I had all the ingredients for my chilli cept the mushrooms and meat, so I was really chuffed Very Happy

I made the cake for afters too, and it was a lovely colour cos of the fresh eggs in it. Smug mode engaged Very Happy

any tins of tuna? give em that then they'll just think what a lovely mum they've got Laughing Laughing Laughing

i've been busy sorting stuff for Jess trip to China at half term, stuff like finding out if her phone will work and getting her flute insured and trying to think of presents to take. The chinese traditionally give presents when you arrive and when you leave. Then I've been trying desperately to convice Jess that the school day in China won't be as long as she thinks it will......................they go to school for 12 hours, from 6am to 6pm. Jess is convinced she'll not cope lolololol Oh and I've had my hair cut again..............dunno if I mentioned but I had it all chopped off 3 weeks ago, as in really really short, kinda an inch long, and its actually quite funky and I realy love it Laughing
