My luvly students got me some book tokens for Christmas so I went and bought 2 books.... showing 3 fingers
- The A-Z of allotment vegetables by Caroline Foley ... Love it, ordered my potatoes following its advice... But then I like her..
- The RHS propagating plants...book.. Not sure about that one, as probably the advice is already there in other books I've got.... But I learnt why oh why I failed everytime with climbing Hydrangea..... it does't take kindly to the 'normal' way, likes 'serpentine layering' apparently.... Hmmfff... Wish I'd known before..... So all in all not a complete waste of time....
The 3rd book I borrowed from the library.... the 1/2 hour allotment...
Deffo not one for me... I'm hopeless at being pressurised into doing something .. I have an allotment to forget I have to do things But
it does have some good ideas, so worth borrowing if you can. Not worth buying I'd say... but worth having a look at... _________________

Dont think it's made from potato. Otherwise it would be a bit silly. _________________ Get with the beat Baggy |
