My luvly students got me some book tokens for Christmas so I went and bought 2 books.... showing 3 fingers Laughing

- The A-Z of allotment vegetables by Caroline Foley ... Love it, ordered my potatoes following its advice... Confused

But then I like her..

- The RHS propagating plants...book.. Not sure about that one, as probably the advice is already there in other books I've got.... But I learnt why oh why I failed everytime with climbing Hydrangea..... it does't take kindly to the 'normal' way, likes 'serpentine layering' apparently.... Hmmfff... Wish I'd known before..... Rolling Eyes

So all in all not a complete waste of time.... Very Happy

The 3rd book I borrowed from the library.... the 1/2 hour allotment...
Deffo not one for me... I'm hopeless at being pressurised into doing something .. I have an allotment to forget I have to do things Laughing

But
it does have some good ideas, so worth borrowing if you can. Not worth buying I'd say... but worth having a look at...

I got myself a H FW cook book and diary (had to buy em for me - sad innit) Rolling Eyes

The diary has got some good recipes in it anorl Very Happy

I've read that Foley woman's book too Dom but prefer the one by that woman whose name I can't remember. Do you know who I mean Laughing

I bought myself HFW book and his diary but my old man wrapped em up for his niece for Christmas Shocked

I made him reorder me some this evening at the point of a meat fork Evil or Very Mad
