I get loose fruit & veg 99% of the time, but the greengrocer uses plastic bags to put it in. Durrr. I have mentioned paper bags, but the plastic ones go on nice ickle roller things and stay clean and are easy to use.... sigh. I do carry carrier bags around to re-use and Tescos give you points for each one you re-use when you do your shopping. The kids toys at Christmas were a nightmare for packaging, but we recycled what we could and took a load to the tip as well. I saved the twisty things for plant ties! sad, me. _________________ I'm not big on high maintenance - when it's time to bow out, I'll skid in sideways, in a wrecked, wrinkly and burned out body, wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Woooohoooo, what a ride that was!!!!" |

I'm with Bags, shoot em for not using their recyc bins or charge em extortionate rates I think it should be illegal not to recycle as should landfills. Landfills shouldn't exist cos from what I've seen it's just a money making racket. The council tell us that our rubbish is going into landfill but the fact is they are buying rubbish from all over the damn country Bastids
My neighbours have loads of cats, dogs, hamsters (they chuck the crap out the cages onto the back field) and don't recyc any of their stuff. They have 3 young kids too. shameful I call it Can't be bothered! They make me sick but they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. I told her that with all the pet food tins and bottles they should be recycling. Like they need telling |

I know some folk are lazy buggers and think the council should wipe their arse |

I can't remember who said it, but the thing about Germany is right. A girl I work with here was stationed in Germany. They are apparently very strict and will go through your rubbish to make sure you are recycling al you can and fine you if you don't. _________________ The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend.

Same here Wards We got to drive a fair way to recycle the bottles
Btw, my son went out with a German girl for 3 years, she was a menace, didn't believe in putting anything in recycling and actually argued about it _________________
