I did Blue Hubbard and it tasted of nowt much compared to the others. I think the Waltham Buttnerut would be good, the Hokkaido and I forgot what the other one was I liked the sound of Embarassed

I've grown loads and I like Sweet Mama, Crown Prince (fab), Winter Festival, Harlequin, Small Sugar.

I suppose what you grow depends on what you want to do with them as some are best for soup, some for curry, some for pie etc.

Okay.
Not worried about too much banter. Enjoy the atmosphere here . Just trying to explain I didn't know why it had happened as not rude or agressive or anything I felt could cause it.

Hey imply, some of your next year's squash are in the seed bag too:

Favourites from last year and trials
Burgess Buttercup - top squash!
F1 Crown Prince - next to top squash!
Barbara Butternut - top butternut!
Jaspee de Vendee
Marina di Chioggia
Moschata - trial
Potimarron
Sweet Mama
Little Gem
Uchiki Kuri - trial
Blue Kuri
Heixingli - trial

Hubbards I enjoyed these last year wardy, but won't be growing many, just a few large ones for the Winter, comparing the Green with True Green and Anna Swarz

Green Hubbard
True Green Hubbard
Blue Hubbard
'Anna Swarz Hubbard'

I have a new half plot that needs clearing, should be just the ticket Shocked Very Happy
