Let friends with no common sense sow seeds for you

... do tell ...

Well, my friend who has taken the plot behind me (my best friend I might add) was down at the plot yesterday when we arrived. I had some seeds to sow and a list of other things so friend says that she will sow seeds with dd to keep her amused and allow me to get on with some other things.

I have checked today and there are some things that haven't been sown and other things that have been over sown, for example 1000 lettuces and approx 100 pak choi - don't worry Flo, had already sorted the ones I was sending to you. What a waste of seedlings!!

I thought the joy of gardening came from sowing your own seed and watching it grow

I completely agree but the offer of a helping hand, esp when there's a lot to do, is always welcome

Oo eck SQ salad soup, salad curry, salad, salad sandwiches, salad giveaways and when all else fails, salad in the compost It's one of those times you wish you'd just gone and done it yourself

Mr L is threatening to make a hoooooooge veggie curry for the bash we could bung in some of your lettuce and no-one would notice a thing shhhhh I haven't mentioned it to the others yet

The problem I have is I don't have room to grow them all so what I can't give away will be on the compost heap

nah tis fine with no meat in it. I aint a veggie but I do think I prefer veg curry to meaty one. Prefer veg chilli too
