I have a crop of Elsanta just about ready ... yum yum ...
- Heavy crops of large, firm, attractive berries with a very good flavour.

Others I would recommend ...

Alice - an early very tasty straw with a long cropping time

Hapil - high yields of large, firm, bright red fruits and crops well on light soils and under dry conditions. The flesh is lovely and juicy and the flavour is absolutely superb. Highly productive and vigorous, it is not susceptible to most diseases and is hardy.

Tenira - a prolific cropper of medium to large sized, firm, juicy fruits and is resistant to the most common diseases

all available from Muir's who display at Chelsea
Razz

Rolling Eyes Well you are supposed to dry it first you know!!

Folk also use membrane under the straw too ... that should fix the seeds! Very Happy

Marshmello. Every time. Forget Elsanta - they are crunchy to me, and tasteless in their supermarket forms.

I wish! I usually get given some fruit by my lottie neighbour Chris, who did give me runners... last year... so no prizes as to what then happened. Bah!
