we did, and it was amazing Laughing

only downside was the worst commentry I have ever heard Twisted Evil
some stupid 'Hazel' woman twittering on about utter crap, pointing out every tragedy and political strife each country had suffered oh! and why the bloody hell was the awful Sarah Brightman singing? Shocked

but the fireworks were fantastic, especially the footprints from six miles away stomping up to the arena, the two thousand and eight synchronised drummers were just awesome and the beautiful ladies in the empirical china bit were stunning Laughing

I recorded the opening ceremony to be able to watch it with the family ... who now seem not too interested to sit watching 'for hours' !! Confused
So looks like I can save it for a rainy day! Rolling Eyes Laughing
